This is a dedication to my father, George L. Waters Jr. As his adopted daughter, I believe that George's teaching and nurturing of me has so much to do with why I present my art and portraits for you in the way that I do, and am dedicated in helping to preserve traditional film and printing processes.
As a Master Printer, Photographer, Photolithographer and Artist, George worked tirelessly to bring his creative and discerning eye to all of his work. From being chosen for Admiral Nimitz' private staff as an aerial photographer during WWII, to working at Kodak as the Head of Photography in the Advertising Department, to his relationships with renowned photographers and artists including Edward Weston, Imogene Cunningham, and his friendship and working relationship with Ansel Adams, there are so many stories to tell and images to share.
I am creating a gallery of his images which will help tell his story. Please check back as I will be updating George's Collection, one that he never had the chance to share with the world.
